Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Educational & Mandatory Qualifications:
- MA in Mass Communication with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale where a grading system is followed).
- A relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for SC / ST / OBC / OBC (NCL) / Differently-abled candidates.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC.
- NET/SLET Exemption: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree shall get exemption from the NET/SLET requirement.
Preferences & Key Skills:
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience in Mass Communication or experience in conducting certificate courses / similar academic programmes.
- The candidate should possess strong understanding and skills in content support, learner coordination, practical sessions, LMS/e-content support, and academic documentation.
- The selected candidate may be required to work both in the Department and in the field as required by the programme.
