Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Education: Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.

Desirable Experience

• Accreditation: Experience working in a NABL-accredited laboratory.

• Relevant Work: 3-5 years of experience in food testing, manufacturing, or Quality Assurance.

• Standards: Familiarity with ISO 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2018 quality systems.

• Auditing: Prior experience in external food safety or quality audits.

Key Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a lead role in the fortification ecosystem:

• Implementation: Support QA/QC systems for fortified rice according to FSSAI guidelines.

• Training: Provide hands-on training to rice millers, FRK (Fortified Rice Kernel) manufacturers, and premix suppliers.

• Technical Audits: Conduct assessments of rice mills and suggest modifications to meet quality standards.

• Documentation: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and formats for certification.

• Digital Integration: Assist in deploying digital QA/QC platforms for program monitoring.
