Educational Qualification
1. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) – 1 Post
Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
AMIE (Section A & B) candidates of the Institution of Engineers (India) who were enrolled with the institute up to 31 May 2013 may also be eligible.
Experience:
Two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in the design, maintenance and construction of structural and reinforced concrete works.
2. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics) – 9 Posts
Qualification:
Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
Eligible IETE or Institution of Engineers (India) Section A & B candidates enrolled up to 31 May 2013 may also be considered.
Experience:
Two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in the field of radio aids to navigation.
3. Assistant Director (Engineering) – 1 Post
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience: Two years' experience in either:
Design, construction and maintenance of Civil Engineering works, including harbour engineering works; or
Maintenance and operation of cranes, diesel locomotives, marine engines and other machinery in a mechanical or marine workshop or organization.
4. Superintendent Translation (Hindi Branch) – 1 Post
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational and professional requirements.
The post accepts either:
A Master's Degree in Law along with the prescribed legal, translation or drafting experience and Hindi-language qualification; or
A Bachelor's Degree in Law along with the prescribed four years' experience in legal affairs, legal practice, teaching law, translation or drafting of statutes.

5. Research Officer – 11 Posts
Qualification:
Master's Degree in any of the following:
Geography
Geology
Applied Geology
Geoinformatics
Geographical Information System and Remote Sensing
Geomatics
Geospatial Technology
The candidate must also have studied Geography, Geology or Applied Geology as a subject throughout the Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
Five years' experience in geographical and cartographical teaching or research involving collection of data and preparation of maps on various themes.
6. Horticulture Development Officer – 4 Posts
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in:
Horticulture Science; or
Agriculture Science.
7. Soil Conservation Assistant – 7 Posts
Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:
B.Sc. Agriculture
B.Sc. Horticulture
B.Sc./M.Sc. Soil Science
B.E./B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering
The qualification should be from a recognized University or Institute.
