Age Limit
Candidates should be up to 55 years of age as on 1 August 2026.
The maximum age may be relaxed up to 60 years by the Governing Board of ICSI IIP.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:
Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI)
MBA
Law Graduate from a reputed institute
Preference will be given to candidates who are Company Secretaries and Insolvency Professionals.
Experience
Candidates should have 20 years of professional experience in areas such as:
Insolvency
Banking
Finance
Corporate Laws
Insurance
Corporate Governance
Securities Laws
Experience with a regulatory body, self-regulatory body or reputed organisation will be preferred.
The experience should include at least 5 years in a CEO, next-to-CEO or senior management position.
Exposure to regulatory, monitoring and disciplinary functions will be preferable.
