Assam Career : Assam Women’s University (AWU), the first women's university in the state located at Rowriah, Jorhat, is inviting applications for several academic and administrative positions. The university is looking for dynamic professionals to join as Teaching Associates (Contractual) in various departments and a Finance Officer to lead its financial administration.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Teaching Associate (Contractual)

• Education: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

• Requirements: Candidates must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR), SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. in the concerned subject.

2. Finance Officer

• Education: M.Com or MBA in Accounting and Finance with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial administration or management within a University, Government body, or PSU.

Selection & Application Process

For Teaching Associate (Walk-in Interview)

• Interview Date: 26th February 2026

• Venue: Assam Women’s University, Jorhat-785004, Assam.

• Reporting Time: 01:00 PM (Interviews begin at 01:30 PM).

• Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹500 via Demand Draft/Bank Draft (details below).

• Documents: Bring a completed Standard Form, self-attested copies of all certificates/testimonials, and Original Documents for verification.

For Finance Officer (By Post/Hand)

• Deadline: 24th February 2026 (by 03:00 PM).

• Submission: Applications with testimonials must reach the Office of the Registrar, Assam Women’s University, Rowriah, Jorhat, Assam-785004.

• Processing Fee: A non-refundable Bank Draft (refer to official bank details) in favor of the Registrar.
