Tezpur University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to 2 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 1 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the DBT-sponsored research project titled “Designing High-Performing, Graph Neural Network Based Novel Computational Tools for Multi-layered Protein Interaction Networks (PINs) Alignment and Identification of Network Modules/Motifs for Prioritizing Common Anti-Viral Drug Targets for Multiple Hepatotropic Viral Diseases.”
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification
Candidates must possess M.E./M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc./MCA/B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in any of the following disciplines:
Computer Science & Engineering
Information Technology
Artificial Intelligence
Data Science
Bioinformatics
Computational Biology
Biotechnology
Mathematics
Statistics
Physics
Life Sciences
Closely related disciplines
Candidates must also have a valid CSIR/UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship)/GATE qualification or have qualified in a national-level examination conducted by Government agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc., or qualified in Category-II merit list of DBT-BET.
Emoluments: ₹37,000/- + HRA per month
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on the last date of application. Upper age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Qualification
Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.
Emoluments: ₹42,000/- + HRA per month
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
