Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the relevant educational qualification given below:
ITI – Electrician
Full-time ITI in Electrician trade.
Diploma – Civil
Full-time 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Diploma – Electrical
Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Graduate – Electrical
Full-time 4-year B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering.
Graduate – Civil
Full-time 4-year B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering) in Civil Engineering.
Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination within two years from the closing date of application and must be medically fit as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Eligible candidates are required to complete the registration and application process in two steps.
Step 1: Register on NAPS/NATS
Candidates should first register themselves as a candidate/student on:
NAPS for ITI (Electrician): apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
NATS for Degree/Diploma Engineering candidates: nats.education.gov.in
Candidates should complete/update their profiles and upload the required documents.
Step 2: Apply through POWERGRID
After obtaining the NATS registration/enrolment number, eligible candidates should apply through the POWERGRID website by following:
