Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university.
A Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
Professor/Associate Professor with a total of 15 years of teaching/research experience in a University, College or other Institution of Higher Education.
Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance appraisal as prescribed by the UGC regulations for direct recruitment of Principals in Colleges.
A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
A minimum research score of 110 as per Appendix-I, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations, 2018.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 55 years.
A 5% relaxation in marks at the Graduate and Master’s Degree levels is applicable to SC/ST and differently-abled candidates, as per the applicable rules.
Application Fee
Applicants must submit a non-refundable A/C Payee Demand Draft of ₹3,000/- along with the application.
