Assam Career : Tezpur University, a premier Central University in Assam, is inviting applications for eight (08) Field Investigators. These positions are for an ICSSR-sponsored Minor Research Project titled "Role of Fintech in Enhancing Financial Inclusion of Women Street Vendors in Northeast India."
Led by Dr. Reshma Kumari Tiwari from the Department of Commerce, this project offers a unique opportunity for social science postgraduates to gain hands-on experience in field research, fintech analysis, and community engagement within the Northeast region.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in any Social Science discipline (e.g., Commerce, Economics, Sociology, etc.) with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Skills: * Experience in both quantitative and qualitative data collection.
Proficiency in data entry and analysis using SPSS or Excel.
Age Limit: Candidates should be no older than 28 years as of the application deadline. (Relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per Government of India rules).

Field Investigators will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic research and grassroots reality.
On-field Surveys: Interacting with women street vendors to collect primary data regarding their use of financial technology.
Data Entry: Systematically entering collected data into statistical software.
Reporting: Assisting the Project Coordinator with documentation and preliminary analysis.
