Assam Career : The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a premier Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, has officially opened applications for the Executive Trainee (ET-2026) program. This year, the focus is on inducting 30 high-caliber professionals into the Industrial & Fire Safety (I&FS) and Physics disciplines.
Selected candidates will undergo a rigorous one-year training program. Upon successful completion, they will be absorbed as Scientific Officer/C in a high-growth career path dedicated to India's nuclear energy self-reliance.

Detailed Eligibility Guidelines
1. For Industrial & Fire Safety (I&FS) Discipline
Approved Degrees: Health Safety & Environment, Fire & Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Fire Tech & Safety, and related engineering streams.
Exclusions: Candidates with only a BE in Fire Engineering or those with a Diploma in Industrial Safety added to a Fire Engineering degree are not eligible.
Final Year Students: If you are appearing for your final semester in 2026, you can apply, provided you submit your final marks (min. 60%) by 30th November 2026.
2. For Physics Discipline
Educational Path: Must have a full-time M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics.
B.Sc. Requirements: Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics at the subsidiary/ancillary level during their graduation.
Exclusions: Degrees in Medical Physics, Chemical Physics, or Geophysics are not considered eligible.
Compensation & Benefits

Exempt Categories: All Female candidates, SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and NPCIL Employees are exempted from paying any fees.
