Assam Career : Assam Rifles has officially announced a recruitment drive for 95 vacant positions under the Sports Quota for the year 2026. Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates for the post of Rifleman/Riflewoman (General Duty).

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Standard) from a recognized Board.
2. Sports Qualification:
Must have participated in any International Competition, National Competition, Inter-University Tournament, National Sports/Games for Schools, or any of the Khelo India (University/Youth/Winter) Games.
3. Age Limit (As of 01 Jan 2026):
General & OBC: 18 – 28 years (Born between 01 Jan 1998 and 01 Jan 2008).
SC & ST: 18 – 33 years (Born between 01 Jan 1993 and 01 Jan 2008).
