The Office of the District Commissioner (DC Office), Goalpara, Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of District Technical Support Staff (DTSS).

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
10+2 (Higher Secondary) pass from a recognized Board/Council.
Diploma in Information Technology (IT) from a recognized institution.
At least 1 year of work experience in the IT field in a Government Institute/Government Project/Mission under Government.
Age Limit
The maximum age of the applicant should be 41 years as on 1 January 2026.
The maximum age limit may be relaxed by up to 8 years for applicants who have served in a similar position under the District Administration of Goalpara or any other District Administration in Assam, subject to production of valid documentary proof.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be conducted through a two-tier selection process:
Tier-I: Written Examination
MCQ-based examination
Total: 50 marks
Tier-II: Personal Interview & Computer Skill Test
Only candidates shortlisted in Tier-I will be called for Tier-II.
Personal Interview: 25 marks
Computer Skill Test: 25 marks
Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II on a 1:15 basis.
Job Responsibilities
The selected DTSS will assist and support the District Project Manager (DPM) in implementing and coordinating various e-Governance activities and initiatives across the district, along with performing other duties assigned from time to time.
