Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the academic requirements set by the UGC. The university follows a dual pathway for eligibility:
Option A:
Master’s Degree: Minimum of 55% marks in History or an allied/relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
National Eligibility: Must have cleared the NET (UGC/CSIR) or equivalent accredited tests like SLET/SET.
Exemption: Candidates with a Ph.D. degree awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
Option B:
Foreign Ph.D.: A Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the Top 500 in the World University Rankings (QS, THE, or ARWU) at any time.
Selection Process: Walk-in Interview
The selection will be finalized through a direct walk-in interview. Candidates should prepare to discuss their specialization and teaching methodology.
